How to get there
This fitness class, led by Maggie Bucci, is designed to get you fit to flow with the journey of life. It combines elements of Pilates, barre, and functional-strength training, with a dash of HIIT (high-intensity interval training), to help you build strength, endurance, and balance through low-weight, high-repetition exercises and progressions.
Beyond building lean muscle and strength, the class encourages us to explore our capacity to do hard things, meet our edges with curiosity and grace, and take breaks, as needed, before trying again—building mental and physical stamina.
“When I have already accomplished this, I know I can tackle anything else that comes my way today,” a participant might say at the end of this class.
But while highly modifiable, to meet you where you are, the class is not recommended if you have any severe knee, hip, shoulder, or other joint injuries.
Please bring water with you, and a mat if you have one. Optionally, you are also welcome to bring a towel and weights (2–5 lbs.). A limited amount of weights will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
About Maggie
Maggie Bucci is a passionate wellness and movement coach and energy worker. She began her journey into physical and spiritual wellness over 10 years ago. Completing her first certification in anti-gravity aerial yoga in 2016, she has gone on to complete her 200-hour yoga teacher-training (YTT) with Yoga Bohemia in 2017, 300-hour YTT at the Yandara Yoga Institute in 2019, and multiple other certifications over the years (total barre, cross-core, BStrong, and more).
Maggie worked with Reiki energy for several years before receiving her Reiki master attunement in 2018. She continues to share Reiki in classes and with clients. Believing in the connection between spiritual and physical health, she hopes to help those she works with, to tune and tone their spirit, mind, and body to thrive in optimal health, happiness, and vitality.
