About the Book
The Tibetan Book of Success presents four newly translated texts from a unique genre of classical Tibetan literature that, much like the writings of the Stoics in the Western tradition, offers practical guidance for creating a meaningful and successful life. These teachings offer clear and succinct guidance for cultivating happiness, success, harmonious relationships, and strong communities. They reveal that universal values—such as honest communication, integrity, fairness, reliability, respect, and generosity—are the foundation for living a good life.
Translated and introduced by Orgyen Chowang Rinpoche, the collection includes writings from renowned Tibetan meditation masters Jamgon Mipham Rinpoche, Patrul Rinpoche, and Sakya Pandita, as well as an 8th-century text discovered in the Dunhuang caves.
