Wednesday, July 29

7–8:30 PM

Free; donations are encouraged

Join Dzogchen meditation master Orgyen Chowang Rinpoche for an inspiring evening exploring timeless wisdom for living a meaningful and successful life.

In this talk, Orgyen Chowang Rinpoche will share practical and profound teachings from The Tibetan Book of Success: A Guide to Relationships, Leadership, Communication, and Happiness, his newly released collection drawn from a rich tradition of secular Tibetan literature. Rinpoche will explore themes such as communication, integrity, compassion, leadership, and wise action, and how these enduring principles continue to offer practical guidance for everyday life and can help us cultivate greater happiness, stronger relationships, and a deeper sense of fulfillment.

Rinpoche will also offer a brief introduction to Pristine Mind meditation.

The book will be available for purchase, and a book signing will follow the talk.

About the Book

The Tibetan Book of Success presents four newly translated texts from a unique genre of classical Tibetan literature that, much like the writings of the Stoics in the Western tradition, offers practical guidance for creating a meaningful and successful life. These teachings offer clear and succinct guidance for cultivating happiness, success, harmonious relationships, and strong communities. They reveal that universal values—such as honest communication, integrity, fairness, reliability, respect, and generosity—are the foundation for living a good life.

Translated and introduced by Orgyen Chowang Rinpoche, the collection includes writings from renowned Tibetan meditation masters Jamgon Mipham Rinpoche, Patrul Rinpoche, and Sakya Pandita, as well as an 8th-century text discovered in the Dunhuang caves.
