ACE MV Presents a Book Talk with Kathleen deLaski
Stillpoint
West Tisbury,
How to get there
Thursday, August 6
4–6 PM
Join bestselling author and workforce expert Kathleen deLaski for a conversation about her book, Who Needs College Anymore?
A former White House correspondent, Pentagon spokesperson, and senior advisor to the Harvard Project on Workforce, deLaski draws on more than a decade of research and interviews with employers, educators, and families to explore how changing workforce needs, rising college costs, and AI are reshaping pathways to successful careers. College is still a good route, but not the only one, and the choices are multiplying.
As families increasingly question whether a four-year degree is the only route to success, this timely discussion offers practical insights into the evolving future of education and work.
The talk will be followed by a Q&A with local educators and employers.
This is a FREE event. Donations to ACE MV will be gratefully accepted.
