This is a one-hour class based on the gentle, flowing movements of Qigong (Chi Kung), known for its health benefits and ability to strengthen the body's core, bringing greater equilibrium. As it invigorates the body and builds a connection to the earth, the practice also helps to calm the mind.
About Kanta
Kanta Lipsky has been a yoga practitioner and teacher for many years. Her master’s degree is from Lesley University, in holistic studies and expressive therapy. She also loves plein air landscape painting and is the author and illustrator of the children’s book Pinkletink the Froggie. She lives on Martha’s Vineyard.
The fee for the class is on a sliding scale ($10–$30).
