HERitage: A Multimedia Retrospective on Historical Women of Martha's Vineyard
Chilmark, MA 02535
How to get there
3 PM (doors open for art showcases, food, and henna)
6–8 PM (music performances)
Join us for a brand-new music and arts festival, curated by Island musician and Martha’s Vineyard Times reporter Sarah Shaw Dawson.
HERitage is a multimedia retrospective exploring the lives of Island women of the past, through the work of the women and nonbinary creatives who live here now. It is about who we hold close and what it means to live in the legacy of others. None of us exist without the people who paved the way before us.
This event is presented in solidarity with LadyFest, a music festival featuring women and nonbinary folks. That takes place in Oak Bluffs on October 3 (the following day).
The price of admission to HERitage is on a sliding scale ($15–$40). Book ahead or drop in! Ticket sales help to fund more affordable programming like this.
